Welcome Home Daddy

My husband was gone for the weekend to a wedding in MN. Although he and I texted and phoned the girls didn't get to interact with him much.    They couldn't wait to see him at the arrival gate at the airport.  We stood at the end of the walkway waving our "Welcome home Daddy" signs, applauding, and screaming (I. did that).  M. pulled is luggage the entire way back to our car. Of course refusing any assistance, even on the uphill ramps.  The long weekend by myself with the girls was all worth it for the moment N. saw his girls greeting him on Father's Day.  We ordered in Chinese-daddy's favorite.  After tucking the girls in we went out for dessert in Old Town.  We had a lovely night reminiscing about the years we have been married (today is our anniversary) and what the future has in store for us.  You can't beat a hot summer night in Old Town.  Father's Day yesterday, 7 year wedding anniversary and N's first day at his new job today.  Needless to say it's a big week.  Love you forever honey.

  3. Loved that picture with Nathan and Madeleine walking through the airport. So beautiful. I never told you, one of the homeland security guys interviewed us about Nathan. So glad he got his job. Always enjoy your posts. We'll be out your way the first week of July. Take care.
